It was exactly two years ago that I handed out my last Thank You for Being You cards to people.
I was on a long trip through South America, when I accepted the very kind offer from a friend to stay in their guest apartment in Monterey, California during the pandemic. Although I kept traveling during the past two years, it didn’t seem acceptable for me to hand people cards when most were frightened of contamination. I really miss the beautiful exchange giving people the cards all throughout the world since I started the project in 2018. I really wish I had someone with me video documenting the magical moment when a person received the cards… so many smiles… even tears of love and gratitude at times. I hope to inspire you to say “Thank you for being you” to as many people, places, and things – as often as possible, in the month of March 2022 and share your experience in the comments. THANK YOU FOR BEING YOU "Let us be grateful to the people who make us happy, they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom." - Marcel Proust

Although the Covid situation has caused much change in the lives of most people on our planet—I have to say, “Humans are still being human”.
I have been fortunate enough to travel to various other countries and places during these past two years, and what I see is humans still doing and experiencing all the basic human things—eating, sleeping, working, caring for our families, falling in love, buying things, creating new things, standing up for what we believe, giving up, helping each other, enjoying life, desiring for more, etc.… Humanity in this exact moment is experiencing the entire spectrum of emotion that we each have the potential to feel and express as part of being human in any moment…. we are a unified consciousness/expression of the ONE human race… with each one of us being a unique version of the whole. THANK YOU FOR BEING YOU “We cannot despair of humanity, since we ourselves are human beings.” – Albert Einstein I am writing this on December 31, 2021, remembering it was December 31, 2018, I committed to write the book “One Only: Awaken to the Relationship.
This last day of the year can be a very powerful time to reflect on the past 12 months in order to let go of what is not in alignment with your ideal self and life, so you can resonate with all that you heart truly desires to be, have and express--the highest version of self. It has been a common practice since the ancient Babylonians to make a New Year resolution. The problem is, how many people follow through with them? I challenge each one of you to sit quietly after reading this and meditate on what you would like to let go of right now and what you want to welcome in towards the betterment of your life. I am sending you all much love and appreciation for YOU BEING YOU! "No matter how hard the past, you can always begin again." -- Buddha I was blessed with one more visit to Egypt when a friend who was so excited hearing about my first trip asked me to join/guide him through a similar route as my trip before.
Since I already experienced all the major sites, I found myself taking way less pictures, and spending more time on fun extracurricular activities. Many of you know I absolutely love to immerse myself in waterways… so this time I made sure I took a dip in the Nile River. Well, it was not just a dip--it was a full-blown dive and swim with my dress on 😊 This time, instead of walking for hours around the pyramids of Giza—I found myself the most beautiful, extremely responsive, and wonderfully fast Arabian horse to race around the area on… sooo much fun! And yes, I finally rode a camel. I did not the first time because I heard they do not treat them well, so I didn’t want to contribute to that business. This time, the boat docked in an area near the Syrian border and said if we wanted to visit a traditional Nubian Village (Nubians are the indigenous people of Egypt), we would have to ride a camel there. Lucky for me my experience riding horses helped me ride the camel, because I ended up getting one that was obstinate and unruly. I asked what was wrong with him and they said he is young and in training. They must have sensed how I love a challenge and excitement. To end the trip, we enjoyed a sunrise hot-air balloon ride. The first and only other time I rode in a hot-air balloon was in Cappadocia, Turkey. Although both were awesome, I personally felt it is hard to beat the magnificent landscape of the volcanic “fairy chimney” formations in Cappadocia. I feel extremely blessed to have all these wonderful experiences, to be able to explore this wonderous planet, and to share my love of life with you. I give love and gratitude for our planet and all that exist on it. THANK YOU FOR BEING YOU “Live your truth. Express your love. Share your enthusiasm. Take action towards your dreams. Walk your talk. Dance and sing to your music. Embrace your blessings. Make today worth remembering.” ― Steve Maraboli, We are taught as young children to listen to, trust and obey our guardians, teachers, religious leaders, doctors, law enforcement, superiors, and government…not to talk back or challenge their rules, laws, and professional knowledge.
Through this obedience, we relinquish our natural state of sovereignty and personal empowerment. We learn not to trust our inherent knowing, by accepting to follow the advice and orders from the ones we learn to believe are more knowledgeable and powerful. If we disobey, we are punished. We learn very quickly to live in fear of punishment… we are ruled by this fear, and it is continuously amplified through the media and all the regulations of our daily life. We have become numb from fear and absolute believers of all that is told to us through the authorities. Many have lost the ability to think for themselves or the desire to question the information given. All though history beliefs enforced by the professionals, leaders, and the educational system that were accepted to be true by humanity in totality … was later shown to be false. I am writing this to bring awareness to this reality, in hope that it inspires as many as possible to start questioning their beliefs and the information that is given to them. Ask the question to all your beliefs as they arise - “Is this true?”, “How can I know for sure is it really true?”. The more you start to question, the more false beliefs you can release, and the more self-empowerment to regain. If you would like assistance in finding and releasing the limiting false beliefs in your psyche, there is a very powerful technique in the book: One only: Awaken to THE Relationship www.amazon.com/One-Only-Relationship-Cher-Hayes-ebook/dp/B084191Z9H/ref=sr And or you can have a Transformation Therapy Session with me: www.calendly.com/transformationtherapysession THANK YOU FOR BEING YOU “Practice listening to your intuition, your inner voice; ask questions; be curious; see what you see; hear what you hear; and then act upon what you know to be true. These intuitive powers were given to your soul at birth.” ― Clarissa Pinkola As I was walking the dog though the foggy 62 degrees coastal forest of Pacific Grove, I found myself thinking about how much I miss the 85 degrees weather in Hawaii.
Tomorrow is my last day of 7 wonderful weeks on my beloved Oahu.
I spent my days playing tennis in the morning, taking the dog to the beach for swimming and ball play, then study or giving Transformational Therapy or RASHA sessions in the afternoon. I have to say, this daily lifestyle is absolutely perfect for me. I came across a really good interview with Joe Dispenza on Gaia, called “Stay Inspired: The Ultimate Truth is Oneness with Joe Dispenza”. If you read the book I wrote, “One Only: Awaken to THE Relationship” you will see the commonality of people when they experience Oneness in consciousness. What I like most about this interview, is when he explains how the mind body system creates the chemicals in our body to either harm or completely heal and protect from all pathogens and imbalances we have acquired. He says just 10-15 minutes a day of focus on the heart center with elevated emotions felt deeply - like gratitude, joy, joy for existence, love of life, etc… you are releasing 1300 different chemicals that stimulate your immune system and cause rejuvenation and repair in the body. Important to know, if you are feeling negative emotions and stress, you are releasing close to the same amount of chemicals that suppress your immune system and wreak havoc on your entire body. I highly recommend you watch this interview, and in this very moment, I am focusing on my heart center, sending all of you much love and gratitude for BEING YOU! THANK YOU FOR BEING YOU “Everything we put into our bodies — from foods and toxins to thoughts and feelings — can shift immune function at a base level.” ― Jeffrey Rediger, Cured: The Life-Changing Science of Spontaneous Healing JULY 2021 After Turkey I returned to my life in Monterey – walking the dog in the forest, neighborhood, or Carmel beach, and helping my clients with organizing and errands. Went to Calistoga, in Northern California wine country for a few days during 4th of July, then went for another short trip to take in the majestic beauty of Yosemite National Park. Left July 14th to Honolulu, Hawaii to watch my Grandpup for a month while my son goes to the mainland… then when he returns, I will stay and care for my friend’s cats while they are away. I am VERY happy to be back on the Islands with my Ohana. Ohana means family in Hawaii, and the spirit of Ohana will always be prevalent. When the local people accept you into their life, you naturally become part of their Ohana. With this blessing you are bound together with compassion, support, loyalty, and love. Sharing the spirit of Ohana is the original intention of this blog/website. It is my desire for humanity to embrace each other as ONE human race – ONE Ohana. Care and support all humans on the planet as their family. Feeling the deep energetic/spirit connection we all share as a human being. “Family means nobody gets left behind or forgotten.” — David Ogden Stiers THANK YOU, HUMAN FAMILY FOR BEING YOU! Turkey is another place that has been on the top of my list to experience for a few years. I had a feeling when I got there, I would want to stay at least a month, so a month was the plan.
