I was blessed with one more visit to Egypt when a friend who was so excited hearing about my first trip asked me to join/guide him through a similar route as my trip before.
Since I already experienced all the major sites, I found myself taking way less pictures, and spending more time on fun extracurricular activities. Many of you know I absolutely love to immerse myself in waterways… so this time I made sure I took a dip in the Nile River. Well, it was not just a dip--it was a full-blown dive and swim with my dress on 😊 This time, instead of walking for hours around the pyramids of Giza—I found myself the most beautiful, extremely responsive, and wonderfully fast Arabian horse to race around the area on… sooo much fun! And yes, I finally rode a camel. I did not the first time because I heard they do not treat them well, so I didn’t want to contribute to that business. This time, the boat docked in an area near the Syrian border and said if we wanted to visit a traditional Nubian Village (Nubians are the indigenous people of Egypt), we would have to ride a camel there. Lucky for me my experience riding horses helped me ride the camel, because I ended up getting one that was obstinate and unruly. I asked what was wrong with him and they said he is young and in training. They must have sensed how I love a challenge and excitement. To end the trip, we enjoyed a sunrise hot-air balloon ride. The first and only other time I rode in a hot-air balloon was in Cappadocia, Turkey. Although both were awesome, I personally felt it is hard to beat the magnificent landscape of the volcanic “fairy chimney” formations in Cappadocia. I feel extremely blessed to have all these wonderful experiences, to be able to explore this wonderous planet, and to share my love of life with you. I give love and gratitude for our planet and all that exist on it. THANK YOU FOR BEING YOU “Live your truth. Express your love. Share your enthusiasm. Take action towards your dreams. Walk your talk. Dance and sing to your music. Embrace your blessings. Make today worth remembering.” ― Steve Maraboli,
