Aloha EveryONE! Well, before I get into the Hawaiian vibe I need to catch up by telling of the trip to Sarasota, Florida in February. Sarasota has been on my list of Power spots for many years…. Although just this year I started hearing about it as a stargate. I knew some of the power spots I have been experiencing around the world are known as Stargates into other dimensions, but I didn’t know that many of them are. Funny thing is – when I first arrived in the city center of town in hope to find someone that knows where the actual stargate is located, the first person I asked said they would take me there. I was so excited how easy that was, then after walking about 10 minutes through town we ended up at a stargate art piece. Although I was surprised there is actually a stargate statue in the middle of town, I had to make it clear that was not the stargate I was looking for. Then he said “ok”, if you want, I will drive you to Siesta Key Beach, which is the etheric stargate of Sarasota. The moment you step your bare foot onto the white-quartz crystal powder beach, you know why it was voted “Top-10 Best Beaches of the World”. They say it is the energy of the crystal sand beach and the Stargate that entices the spiritually inclined visitors to end up never leaving. The area is filled with spiritual centers, alternative medicine practitioners, healers, energy workers, yoga centers, metaphysical bookstores, spiritual teachers and life coaches. They are calling it the “future crystal city of light” that is waiting to be birthed. I enjoyed exploring the area, and absolutely love the crystal beach of Siesta Key… it is definitely a place will return. Siesta Key – THANK YOU FOR BEING YOU “And forget not that the earth delights to feel your bare feet and the winds long to play with your hair” ― Khalil Gibran, The Prophet

Most people don't realize the detrimental impact a lifetime of suppressed thoughts and emotions has on them, their loved ones, and the world we all share. The collection of these neglected thoughts and emotions create what is often called the Shadow Self.
We all have a shadow self - it's the aspect of you that has been judged as bad for unacceptable and is usually buried deep in the subconscious mind. We need to create a loving and accepting space for ourselves and others to process and integrate a healthier versions of the Shadow Self. I have only been to Vegas, a couple of times before… when I was in my 20’s and 30’s, and only stayed on the famous Vegas strip. This time I experienced being a local, staying on one of Cary Grants old homes. I have traveled many countries in the world that are considered dangerous, and I found this place to be the first I ever felt afraid. I like to walk around the areas I am exploring to get a good feel for the place. It was a beautiful, morning and looked forward to take a stroll. I walked for about an hour, and within that time I had one guy follow me in his car, even getting out of his car to start a conversation, and as soon as he left another guy walked up behind me yelling out to talk to me. I started walking very quickly, to almost a run, crossed the street and turned the corner to escape. When I returned to the house, my friend told me this area is considered old Vegas, which is now overflowing with drug users. We discussed in depth about why people go to Vegas, and the energy pull it has on many. In addition to the normal reason to let loose and party all night, attend a conference, or the flux who moved there during the 80’s for a chance to own their own home – there are also many highly advanced in the realm of spirituality and expanded consciousness who moved to Vegas… like my grandfather who was the founder of the Institute of Cosmic Wisdom, and moved there from Hawaii in the 60’s. The insight of this discussion was Vegas challenges and test people with their vices and addictions; like sex, drugs, alcohol, gambling, overindulgence, greed, escapism, need for power – weakness in their psyche. For the ones who feel they have reached a high level of spiritual/consciousness advancement, it seems they experience the last temptation. I believe most humans are constantly challenged with some distortion of mind. We are a species plagued with mental instability…. And the remedy to this condition, is to re-mind humanity of the eternal, fully empowered magnificent beings that we truly are. “Carefree Scamps like you and I go through transition stages from time to time, and one of the exceptional things about life's challenges is that we get to discover what we’re truly capable of. You, my friend, are more spirited, resolute, and fearless than you can ever imagine. And on the flip side you’re more immoral and foolhardy than most people could ever dream of being. Isn’t that great?” ― Karl Wiggins THANK YOU FOR BEING YOU I first heard of the dark room retreat experience in Sept 2020, and said, “I have to do that”!
Here is a great article describing the experience: https://medium.com/@donny313g/down-the-rabbit-hole-how-a-dark-room-stimulates-dmt-and-profound-experiences-7faac6d0d547#:~:text=Dark%20room%20therapy%20is%20simply,higher%20states%20of%20the%20mind I spoke with friend of a friend who did it in Guatemala, and highly recommended doing it there, while at the same time, made it very clear the dark room experience is “very intense” and not for everyone. I started researching more about it and where it can be done. As it turned out the Hermitage, Solitary and dark retreat center in Guatemala, seemed like the best option. The only problem was Guatemala was not allowing visitors in the county due to Covid. Also, on the Hermitage site it says there is usually a 3 month out wait list for the dark room. Well, life wanted it for me as much as I did, opening Guatemala’s borders days after I was researching… and miraculously, I was able to get in within a couple of weeks, before others on the list had time to make plans 😊 My original plan was to stay in for 7 nts, but I had a feeling the day before I entered the cave, I would want to stay 9 nts. Again, they said usually they would not be able to honor this last-minute request because of a tight schedule of people, but it ended up working out perfectly for me. My experience of complete darkness and solitude felt like a mind/body/spirit boot-camp. I spent the entire time in a continual state of mediation… while eating, stretching my body, sitting, standing, and laying. I did not allow my mind to hold on to any thoughts - Just constant awareness of the connection and feeling of the Source Field. The ultimate experience during that time was while standing and doing Qigong type of movements through the darkness, and the blackened room filled with light particles. I came to tears of gratitude for what I perceived as a witnessing of Source particles popping in and out of existence. PURE AWESOMENESS! “The mind once enlightened cannot again become dark.” ― Thomas Paine THANK YOU FOR BEING YOU The first week of Oct, I went on a planned 1-2 night trip to Shasta for a short full moon adventure, that turned into a fun last minute road trip with a friend.
My friend who recently moved to Mt. Shasta, really wanted to see Medicine Lake, Glass Mountain, and Crater Lake. I have already been to Medicine and Crater lake, but never Glass Mountain… and since I love road trips and new places, it didn’t take much to convince me to join her on a little adventure….and of course I had to make sure we stopped at some other cool waterways on way 😊 First stop was Medicine lake, a place of special spiritual significance for local Indian tribes, that sits in the caldera of the ancient volcano, Medicine Lake Volcano. We went for a quick brisk dip in the lake before heading to the remains of the last eruption on Glass Mountain. I couldn’t stop saying “WOW”, as we entered the shiny glass-like black Obsidian filled terrain. I have been to many volcanic areas, which all tend to give the feeling that you are on a different planet, but this one tops them all. I really wish the pictures could portray what it felt like there… unfortunately they do not. We hiked around a bit and meditated for a while. I really like it there. It is interesting how fragile the Obsidian is at certain stages of its hardening…. Some of it is just like thin, sharp glass. We drove on to Klamath Lake where the blue-green algae is formed that I take daily as a nutritional supplement. The lake was way too thick with the alae for us to swim in. We spent the night in Klamath Falls, and continued to Crater Lake the next morning. As always, that lake is breathtakingly spectacular. We both swam in the pristine and very cold lake, and even though it was freezing we found it very difficult to get out. THANK YOU all the lakes and water of our planet FOR BEING YOU! “You are water I’m water we’re all water in different containers that’s why it’s so easy to meet someday we’ll evaporate together.” ― Yoko Ono “In rivers, the water that you touch is the last of what has passed and the first of that which comes; so with present time.”― Leonardo da Vinci “They both listened silently to the water, which to them was not just water, but the voice of life, the voice of Being, the voice of perpetual Becoming.”― Hermann Hesse “A drop of water, if it could write out its own history, would explain the universe to us.” – Lucy Larcom “Nothing is softer or more flexible than water, yet nothing can resist it.” – Lao Tzu I found Arkansas in notes I wrote many years ago for power spots on the planet, and since I am stuck in America at this time, I decided to go on a month long road trip to check it out. As you can see in my blog post for the past 3 years, I have been traveling the world most powerful spots, while missing out on a very potent one right here in the USA. If you are into the ley lines and power grid of the planet, you are aware that Arkansas is intricately connected to three of my favorite places on earth – Lake Titicaca, Peru; Mt. Shasta, California; Goias, Brazil. I planned the driving route to visit other well-known highly energetic spots like Joshua Tree, CA; Sedona, AZ; Chaco Canyon, NM. And of course, I looked daily for a place to stop and swim in some water way 😊 Day 1 I soaked in the Montecito hot springs, and day 2 after sleeping in Joshua Tree, I swam in the Colorado River and Pleasant lake before stopping for a visit with my dear friend Stu, in Sedona, AZ for 3 nights. In between hikes, I plunged myself in Sedona’s crisp clean creek. Back on the road I slept in Sunset Crater Volcano National Park, AZ, then drove to explore the ruins of Chaco Canyon, NM. Next day went for a swim and soak in Jemez falls River and a hot spring in a cave, before staring an 8hr drive through Texas, landing myself in another new favorite spot, Cold Creek Campground, Oklahoma. I enjoyed morning coffee with the gracious camp host and new dear friend Terry, before hiking and swimming in the freshest creek water I have ever swam in. In the attached pictures you will see a circular pool of water – the green you see is the reflection of the above tree, and that water is constantly bubbling up from the ground creating the creek I swam in. It is the sweetest, purest water I have ever tasted in my life. After 2 nights in OK, I ventured on to Arkansas to soak in the crystal filled environment, hunt for crystals, swim in the creeks, pick out my crystal from the famous McEarl Mine warehouse, hike the Toltec Mounds and Pinnacle Mountain, dig for Diamonds at Crater of Diamonds, sleep in a pasture on Erwin Estate in Magnet Cove, get my piece of the famous black magnetic rock, explore Hot Springs Historical Town, escape a hurricane by driving up Magazine Mountain, then finalize my Arkansas adventure with Baptizing myself and new crystal at Magnet Spring. And to top it all off, after doing my most frequent meditation I call “Center Point”, I see in the parking lot the one other vehicle that was there was a truck who’s company name was “Center Point Systems” 😊 I now start my way back to Monterey with a stop back in Cold Creek campground, Oklahoma, to visit Terry and swim in the wonderful creek water. Next stop is to spend some time with my daughter who is a student at the University of Arizona, Tucson. And blessed one more time to stay with Stu in Sedona, AZ for few days. The first night I arrived we joined in with hundreds of people for the full moon drumming on Cathedral Rock… and WOW the energy was so thick and alive I caught it in a picture (see below). I hiked, swam, and visited with some new friends, before getting back on the road. I made one more stop on the way home, which was Lake Arrowhead, CA. I lived there in my late teens and it was very strange to go back after all these years. Even MORE strange was driving through the desert while entering California from a month-long trip away, and all I saw was a land of smoke… soooo eerie. My heart goes out to all the people, animals, nature, and our planet during this intensely destructive phase. My thoughts/prayers are for these times to awaken a unified humanity in love and support for each other. “We are only as strong as we are united, as weak as we are divided.” – J.K.
