Before leaving Greece and starting my adventure through the Balkans, I had to do a quick couple of days road trip to Mt. Olympus and Meteora. Due to my leg injury, I was not able to hike to the top of Mt. Olympus (the highest peak in Greece), but I did venture through some of the trails and found some magnificent swimming holes and waterfalls. The one of the pictures I am posting here is the view of Mt. Olympus peak from my room :) The formations of nature in Meteora are truly AWE inducing! At one time there were over a hundred monasteries there, but now there are around 4 still intact. It is very interesting to see how they built them in the tall mountains. “Give yourself a gift of five minutes of contemplation in awe of everything you see around you. Go outside and turn your attention to the many miracles around you. This five-minute-a-day regimen of appreciation and gratitude will help you to focus your life in awe.” - Wayne Dyer

Hi! They said I broke my leg, but I took the cast off the next day and put it in the Thermal springs and cold springs, and I have been walking and hiking more and more everyday. I did a 6hr hike in Rila Bulgaria the other day. A little sore and swollen but ok. Thank you for your concern :)
